Welcome

We have an active branch, so come join us for any of our activities including monthly meetings, section meetings of our interest groups, and committees such as our Tech Trek support. We work collaboratively with our community with projects such as English Conversation classes held at the Arcadia Public Library. The Arcadia Branch advocates diversity! The English Conversation class can be considered a grass-roots effort to promote diversity in our community.

Meetings

Arcadia Branch meetings are held once each month September through June, on the 2nd Monday of the month, at Jordan Hall at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 400 W. Duarte Road (SW corner of Duarte Rd. and Holly Avenue) Arcadia, CA 91107. Networking time is 6:30 to 7:00- p.m.; the general meeting and program are 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

For example, the May 11, 2009 general meeting will include an interactive program on “Senior Sensitivity” with Cathy Klose, R.N. Our meeting on June 8 will include installation of our 2009-2010 Board of Directors and award the 2009 Woman of Achievement recognition.

Monthly section meetings include:
  • Evening and Daytime Book Groups
  • Bridge
  • Adventurer’s Dining and Travel Group
  • Passport to Travel at Citrus College
